Welcome to the first edition of our Homefixers newsletter! As our business has grown, we’ve had more and more requests from clients and suppliers to keep them in the loop as to what’s been happening, and what new services we’ve got to offer – so here it is :) We aim to send out this little communiqué once a month, to ensure that everybody in the Homefixers family (yes, you!) gets the latest news, tips, and specials, direct to your Inbox…
Moving onwards and upwards
The sustained growth of our business has meant that we were in desperate need of more space for our operations. So, earlier this year, we shipped out of our offices in Gardens, and have moved to substantially larger premises in Parow. Not only does our fantastic new space ensure better access to the northern and southern suburbs (no more fighting CBD traffic!), but we’ve also been able to dedicate a significant area for our own workshop – allowing us to be able to work on completing some of our projects off-site (freeing up time and space for our customers).
Not only have our premises grown, but so has our staff compliment! To ensure that we continue to offer the best levels of service for our customers, there have been some internal promotions, and we’ve taken on a couple of new ‘family members’:
Philip Scheltens has returned to Homefixers from a short break away. A handyman par excellence, he’s taken up the position of Operations Manager, and is the man responsible for overseeing all work done by the handymen. You’re very likely to meet him in person soon, as he’s also responsible for the bulk of our on-site quoting.
Special offers for April
With the weather having just given us a reminder this week that we’re slowly but surely moving into autumn, we’ve got some special offers valid only for the month of April:
- Gutter Busters Let us get up onto your roof (do you want to go up there in the rain?), and clean out your gutters for you. With the winds of summer having taken their toll, you’re bound to have a few blockages raising their ugly heads. While we’re up there, we’ll be sure to check and re-seal any gutter joints that aren’t looking so hot.
- Whip your door and window seals into shape. We’ll do a comprehensive inspection of all your external doors and windows, re-sealing those that need a touch-up. Don’t underestimate how much of an impact a cracked or broken seal can have – we’ve all been victims of those nasty draughts that just won’t go away… And you can save yourself a small fortune in heating bills!
Customers taking advantage of these specials can help themselves to a meaty 15% discount on labour charges. That’s not to be sniffed at! For those of you lucky enough to make use of all the extra holidays coming up in April, and want to get a handyman to whizz past while you’re actually going to be at home, we’re happy to announce that we’ll have teams on the road on all public holidays except for the Easter weekend. Even better, we’re scrapping our public holiday rates for April and May, so you’ll only be paying our standard day rates :) Book your handyman now, before the chance passes you by!
